Paradaux is back with arguably his most complete work to-date. The five-track Element of Nothingness E.P. clearly drifted up unimpeded from the bellows of his tumultuous, restless soul.

Wind Chill Pattern subtly meanders into our conscious realm with vibe-ridden pads and an evolving 303 synth line that builds throughout this ambient style intro piece. Complementary percussive elements form a loose structural shell that entices listeners amongst an envelope of embryonic pads and vocal elements, inviting them to take a hand and emerge from the wary depths they have endured.

A veiled kick drum and percussive elements are engulfed by tweaking, probing effects as Wind Blind builds into a punchy yet delicate techno piece. Without intrusion the track wisps its way into your being, inviting you to continue your emergence through impeccably placed hi-hats and percolating drum lines.

It isn't long before the dominating bass line in Wind Drift creeps its way to the fore of mind and body, facilitating the desire to move one's body convulsively. Mid-breakdown the tracks true edification begins with a titillating neuronal bell and signature drippy bleeps that pulls on the listener's mind strings, firmly pulling them further along this desolate yet engulfing path. The piece is destined to shift and perturb dance floors into the wee hours.

While retaining a unique vibe all of its own accord, Wind Burn finds itself flawlessly winding down the emotional staircase that the Element of Nothingness release perpetrates. Groovy, emotional, raw, tweaking, driving, danceable, gripping, and heart-piercing all somehow congeal and encapsulate this emotionally overwhelming and cruelly melodic acid-ridden techno piece. The lead line will pierce through the most dull of souls.

Included as a Bandcamp-only bonus track, Wind Chill Pattern 2 gracefully and mind-bendingly tickles the listeners perceptual awareness with a subtle percussive groove and fleeting chimes and effects, releasing the listener back into the unknown realms of current realities.
